Mark Grand Lodge Investiture Meeting |
| On Tuesday the 12th June, more than 50 West Lancashire Mark Masons descended on the London for the occasion of the Grand Mark Investiture Meeting. |
| The meeting, which was presided over by HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Grand Master, had a change of format this year with only the Active Ranks and first Appointments being Invested at this meeting, the Promotions will be Invested in September. |
| Three members of the Province received Active ranks, David Rotheram, Leyland Mark, Grand Senior Deacon, Graham Corday, Lodge of Charity & Austin Fletcher of Flixton Shepherd Eastwood, each being Appointed as Grand Stewards. |
| Appointments to Past Ranks included Tony Cross, Bispham with Norbreck, and Andrew Whittle, Corinthian. to PAGDC. Derek Eastham, Leyland, to PAGSwd.B. Michael Parker, Garston and Graham Sinden, St Georges, to PGStdB, and Edward Price, Prince of Wales to PAGStdB. |
| Following the meeting, there was time for relaxing and refreshing drink at the various hostelries along Great Queen Street before most our party dined in true London style in the Connaught Rooms. |
